We offer 3 interactive sea lion programs every Monday through Saturday, so you can choose how you'd like to get to know these frisky fellows. What makes sea lion encounters so exhilarating is their inclination to play... and they're eager to play their games with you! Fast, agile and adorable, sea lions are fascinating to watch - and never timid about speaking what's on their minds. As they romp and frolic, their barks, honks and trumpets will surely keep you amused, so no matter which program you choose, you'll cherish the time you spend with them for years to come! |

GET TO KNOW OUR SEA LIONS...
If you want to get up-close and personal with a sea lion, this is your opportunity! Our Sea Lion Encounter program is a fun way to really get to know our affectionate mammalian friends! Our trainer will brief you on sea lions' physiology and behavior before you enter the water, then you'll have an opportunity to play, pet, shake a flipper or two, and possibly even receive a big fishy kiss! Group sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 people per encounter, so you'll get the most out of this fascinating experience. Please note that this program is not recommended for children under 4 foot 5 inches tall and participants should not wear sunscreen or jewelry during the Encounter.

MEET OUR SEA LION FAMILY...
At the Vallarta Adventures Dolphin Center and Marine Mammal Educational Facility in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico, a family of sea lions and the people who care for them are working together to learn a little more about marine mammals in hopes that this knowledge will lead to an increased appreciation and respect for these amazing animals and the environment we share. Our educational and entertaining sea lion programs offer you and your children the unique opportunity to learn more about these fun-loving and facinating marine mammals while getting to know our friendly family of sea lions and their professional marine mammal trainers in our hands-on, interactive sea lion programs.  Cassandera is a one year old sea lion from Isla de Lobos, Uruguay. She has a great sense of humor and loves to play. She's madly in love with Litubu.
 Litibu is a 3 year old sea lion from Isla de Lobos, Uruguay. He is named after a secluded beach north of Vallarta. He is a professional kisser.
 Marina was born in 2004 in Isla de Lobos, Uruguay. Her best friend is Xhanath, and they have lots of fun together playing and jumping around in the waterfall.
 Monico is an 8 year old Sea Lion from Rosarito, Baja California. Karina is his trainer and he has been at the Dolphin Center since 2002.
 Sayula is a 3 year old from Uruguay. She loves to flirt with the boys and so always gets her own way even though she can be stubborn sometimes.
 Xanath (pronounced Shana) is also from Uruguay. She is the show-off out of all the Sea Lion family and will do anything to get attention. | | |
